Welcome to the Lloydminster Aquanauts Summer Swim Club website:

The Lloydminster Aquanauts have been an active summer swim club since 1962 with a season that runs from May 1st to mid-August. Our Club encourages each swimmer to strive for their highest level of personal achievement, with a commitment to a team and a true sense of fair play. This is achieved through personal goal setting, individual discipline, self-motivation, hard work, and a wealth of encouragement from parents, coaches and all team members.

The Aquanauts are members of the Alberta Summer Swim Association (ASSA), which is comprised of 6 regions and approximately 60 clubs. All registered swimmers of The Aquanauts become members of the ASSA.

We currently offer the following Program:

• Competitive Program:
  For the competitive swimmer who wants to improve on technique and endurance and maintain a competitive edge. Swimmers are encouraged to enter various swim meets throughout the season although attendance at these meets is optional.
  
  Prerequisites: It is suggested that new swimmers be able to complete one length of the pool unassisted, however, if not, we anticipate this goal would be attained after a couple of weeks. Swimmers will be placed in groups according to their ability.
  
  Age Categories for Swim Meets: 6 & under (certain events/meets), 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, 15 & 16, and 17 & over
